“Samuel was a craftsman who could build or mend almost anything, and a mentor to the young people of his district.”
Their Story
Samuel was a craftsman who could build or mend almost anything, and a mentor to the young people of his district. He believed in honest work, quiet faith, and a good cup of coffee before sunrise.
A lover of cricket and old records, he filled his home with music and his workshop with apprentices. He gave freely of his time and asked for little in return.
He leaves behind his wife of forty-one years, two sons, and countless friends who called him simply 'Mas Sam.'

Memories & Tributes
Dad measured twice and cut once — in wood and in life. Every shelf in my house is his. So is every good habit I have.

Son
Mas Sam never turned a young man away. He gave me a trade and a reason to get up before the sun. I hear his voice in every job I finish right.
