Wherever they are, we bring them home.
Distance should never stand between a family and a dignified farewell. We coordinate the international transfer of loved ones — bringing them home to Jamaica, or sending them to rest abroad — handling the documentation, logistics, and liaison so you can grieve, not navigate paperwork.
Bringing a loved one home to Jamaica
Documents that must accompany your loved one:
- Official Death Certificate (or Post Mortem Report) from the relevant authority
- Certificate of Release / Transit Permit stating the deceased's name and age
- Embalming Certificate (except where embalming is prohibited for religious reasons)
- Consular Mortuary Certificate, prepared by the receiving country's consulate
- An English translation of any document not originally in English
Documents must be submitted to the Kingston & St. Andrew Health Department (or the St. James Health Department) of the Ministry of Health before the remains arrive, to facilitate the Transit Permit. We manage this liaison on your behalf.
Sending a loved one to rest abroad
We prepare and embalm the deceased to international standards, secure the export documentation and consular certificates required by the receiving country, arrange an approved shipping casket and air cargo, and coordinate with a funeral home at the destination — keeping you informed at every stage.
Requirements are summarised from the guidance of the Jamaican High Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Foreign Trade, and can change. They are provided for general information only — our team confirms the current requirements for your specific countries and circumstances.
We are here, whenever you need us.
