“Daisy Scott Barnes was a wonderful woman of God, whose faith was the quiet centre of all she did.”
Their Story
Daisy Scott Barnes was a wonderful woman of God, whose faith was the quiet centre of all she did. She lived with grace, gave without measure, and held everyone she loved in prayer — which was to say, everyone she met.
Her home was always full: of children and grandchildren, of laughter, of the warmth of Sunday cooking and hymns sung late into the evening. She leaves behind four children and eight grandchildren, each carrying a piece of her warmth and her unshakeable faith.
Hers was a life of devotion — to God, to family, and to her community. She will be deeply missed, and forever remembered.

Memories & Tributes
Mama prayed for each of us by name, every single morning. I feel those prayers still. Her faith was a house we could all live in.

Daughter
Sister Daisy gave without measure and never once counted the cost. The church was warmer for her being in it, and it is quieter now.
